The CPC Community Starts with our volunteers

Career Professionals of Canada is a social enterprise with a strong and committed volunteer network.

Getting involved as a CPC volunteer is personally and professionally rewarding. You’ll build deep relationships with your colleagues, advance your own professional development, and contribute directly to the advancement of our services and programs.

Build Your Credibility as a Canadian Career Practitioner and a Leader in our Field

A volunteer position with CPC is an excellent opportunity to “give back” to your community while you are building your own credibility as a career professional and a leader in your field.

Your commitment as a volunteer with the organization requires only a little of your time each month — the number of hours are flexible and entirely dependent upon your availability.

Communications Team

Do you have a way with words?

Due to the great interest in CPC’s News Feed articles, our Communications Team is expanding. We are currently looking for team members who are interested in writing and blogging. This is a great opportunity to build your expertise and increase your visibility. You must be a CPC member in order to join this volunteer effort.

If you are an avid blogger or a career practitioner with some great tips, tricks, and ideas you would like to share with your colleagues, this may be the role for you.

Awards Team

Career Professionals of Canada (CPC) is committed to setting the standard for excellence in the Canadian career field. Recognizing outstanding individuals in our profession is one of our most important activities. Active members of CPC are eligible to strive for our prestigious Awards of Excellence.

Award nominations are evaluated by an independent awards judging team. The Judging Team is comprised of CPC members and past Awards of Excellence recipients. Judges make their award selections independently and impartially on a tabulation form, in accordance with the nomination procedures.

Judges volunteer their time and expertise to the process. Once all the tabulation forms are completed and the results compiled. Judges meet to discuss and to agree on the final nominees and recipients.
