Nearly all major organizations and recruiters today use some form of Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or optical scanner to handle job applications and to manage resume data. By applying the right keywords, a job seeker can dramatically increase the chances of being selected for an interview.

Our facilitator, Dorothy Keenan is a Certified Career Strategist and Regional Ambassador with Career Professionals of Canada. A career counselling expert, Dorothy helps clients creates resumes that that move them from the bottom of the resume pile to the top.

Consider these questions for our call:

  1. What makes a keyword effective?
  2. How can you identify keywords that a recruiter might use as search terms?
  3. How do you write an ATS-friendly resume that is still compelling to human readers?
  4. What are the differences in formatting for ATS resumes and those intended to be read?
  5. How can you stay on top of trends and changes regarding ATS systems?

This is a conference call. Long distance charges may apply.
