Financial pressures can impact not only mental well-being but also career decision-making and the ability to navigate an uncertain world of work.

This November, Canada Career Month and Financial Literacy Month come together in a special CPC webinar exploring one of the most important and often overlooked influences on career well-being: financial stress.

Join us on Tuesday, November 17, at 1:00 PM ET for a timely 60-minute conversation about the powerful connection between money, mental health, and career resilience.

Financial uncertainty can affect confidence, well-being, decision-making, workplace performance, and the ability to move forward. Career professionals and leaders are often among the first to see these effects, but supporting someone through financial stress does not require becoming a financial expert.

In this practical and engaging session, Anna Gordon will explore:

  • How financial stress can influence mental health and career decisions
  • How to recognize when money concerns may be affecting confidence and performance
  • Practical ways to support clients, employees, and ourselves through uncertainty
  • Accessible tools and resources for strengthening financial wellness and resilience

You will come away from this session with greater confidence in your ability to have supportive conversations with your clients, connect people with appropriate resources, and help build resilience during challenging times.

Who should attend: Career development professionals, career coaches, employment consultants, team leaders, HR professionals, workforce development professionals, educators, and anyone supporting clients as they navigate the intersection of financial well-being and career decision-making.
