Many clients are reeling as a result of a lengthy recession. Jobs are not as easy to find and keep as they were in earlier years. By the time some clients come to us for advice, we may find that they have already had to deal with an exceptionally lengthy job search.

Maureen Farmer, award-winning career consultant and resume writer will be leading this session.

We’ll discuss the following questions during our session:
  1. How do you help your clients to move forward and secure employment after a lengthy job search?
  2. How do you help them build their self-esteem and confidence?
  3. How do you engage a client that is having a difficulty gaining motivation and momentum?
  4. How do you address peripheral concerns such as lack of income and family support?
  5. Can you suggest resources to help dealing with the stress, anguish, and despair associated with a long term of unemployment?
