Secondary & Post-Secondary Career Advisors SIG: Students and new graduates are bearing the brunt of the labour market downturn

Are you a secondary or post-secondary career advisor working in the academic and educational sector?

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Our CPC Special Interest Group (SIG) is dedicated to providing the support and resources you need to excel in your role.

Who Can Participate?

This SIG is exclusively designed for career professionals working in secondary and post-secondary educational settings. To ensure the integrity and focus of the group, applicants are required to complete a short questionnaire outlining how they match this criterion.

Participants will collaborate and share ideas, resources, best practices, and labour market trends as they relate to learners in the academic and educational sectors.

You must also be an active CPC member at the time of each session. If you feel this group is not a good fit for you, please check our CPC Events schedule for other SIGs and events. 

What Can You Expect?

• Sessions are virtual and take place via Zoom.  
• There are three sessions held per year. Please register for each session individually. 
• Sessions are confidential and are not recorded, creating a safe space for open and honest discussions.
• As a group, you may decide to share key research findings in the CPC News Feed.
