ATTENTION: Calling Secondary & Post-Secondary Career Advisors (academic and educational sector career professionals)!

This CPC Special Interest Group (SIG) is free of charge for members who qualify based on their background, qualifications, and interests. This SIG is limited to 20 participants.

This SIG is designed for career professionals working in secondary and post-secondary educational settings. Participants will collaborate and share ideas and resources, and labour market trends as they relate to clients who are learners in the academic and educational sector.

Sessions are virtual and take place via Zoom.

  • You are expected to attend all four sessions; sessions are confidential and they are not recorded.
  • You must maintain your professional membership throughout the term of the program to participate.
  • Your group may agree to publish key research findings in the CPC News Feed.
  • Upon completion of the SIG, the group may decide to continue to meet for new sessions.

To ensure the integrity and focus of the program, applicants are required to complete a questionnaire outlining their areas of interest. Preference is given to qualified applicants who have not joined a group previously.

To be able to participate actively in the discussions, you must be currently working in the secondary or post-secondary career development field. If you do not have experience working in this area, you will find it difficult to contribute to the group discussion. If you feel that this group is not a good fit for you, check our events schedule for another appropriate SIG.
