Beverly started her insurance career at TD Insurance then Chubb Insurance and then moved to the education side of the business by working with the Insurance Institute of Canada. Currently working with Career Connections, a division of the Insurance Institute, which is dedicated to improving the understanding of insurance and educating students and career seekers about careers available in the industry.
Beverly is a big fan of “career stories” and believes they are made to be shared. Her duties also include training industry volunteers across the country – called Ambassadors – who offer their time to participate at a wide number of events.
You will see Beverly and the Career Connections team participating at various events on campuses across Canada, presenting at high schools and engaging with career changers at a number of career fairs, moderating panel discussions and networking events. Her work in offering career advice to students, newcomers and career seekers in general is her passion.
Beverly holds her Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation, is an active ambassador herself and is passionate about mentoring, education and insurance and is excited when the opportunity to bring them all together arises.
