Profile Text
I am a Career Educator who has supported thousands of emerging professionals through community building, career advising and job search support.
Currently an Alumni Relations Specialist in Yorkville University's Career Services team, I cultivate alumni partnerships to support our students through mentorship programs and career development events.
Prior to Yorkville, I worked with students and alumni at Toronto Metropolitan University as a Career Education Specialist delivering workshops to 4,000+ students and 1,500+ one-to-one career advising appointments. My perspective on career education has been featured in publications such as University Affairs, CanCulture and Style Nine to Five.
Previously, as a Development Executive in film and TV, I worked with emerging voices over a 15-year span, working in Canada, the US, and the UK. I love to volunteer and have held roles such as Committee Chair for the vocational training profit, POV, and been invited as a guest speaker to the UK’s National Film & Television School, the Canadian Film Centre, and the National Screen Institute.
In my spare time, I run a grassroots organization, Start in Screen, for those breaking into the film and TV sector.
