Profile Text
As a passionate, creative, and dedicated Career Coach, Co-op Coordinator, and Entrepreneur, I am committed to building a strong rapport with my clients, using a framework of multicultural competence in my work, and supporting my clients holistically in achieving their career goals.
I have worked with a diverse clientele during my career including post-secondary students, newcomers, women, entrepreneurs, and NEET youth. I have been privileged to work in post-secondary institutions, Trent University, McMaster University and Ryerson University, as well as various non-profit organizations.
My current role is working as the Co-op Coordinator at Trent University's Careerspace where I am responsible for building out 16 new Humanities and Social Sciences co-op programs, supporting students with securing co-op jobs, and connecting employers to exceptional Trent talent.
In addition to my full-time role, I work to support others virtually on a part-time basis through my own coaching business, Sand to Pearl Coaching. As a Certified Career Development Practitioner (CCDP), I am committed to using a client-centered framework and working from a strengths-based wellness approach, considering the individual holistically and taking into account their roles, commitments, passions, and desires. I have created over 150 hours of employability and life skills curriculum and helped over 250 individuals with career exploration, job coaching, personal branding, and confidence building.
