Alicia Ch’ng is the Head of Careers Advisory Service (CAS) at the University of Nottingham Malaysia. She graduated in July 2018 from the University of Nottingham Malaysia with a Master of Business Administration (General). As the head of CAS, she is responsible for developing, engaging and empowering her team, as they are the greatest asset.
As a career specialist, she is passionate about teaching, sharing and guiding students to achieve their career goals. Recently, under her supervision, the Career Advisory Service at UNM won the Best Career Centre of the Year 2019. She and her team believe in instilling the centre’s value statement - Do what you love, love what you do - in the students through career development processes and job search activities.
She is an experienced certified career development facilitator with more than 20 years of working experience in the education industry under her belt. Additionally, she is certified in Strong Interest Inventory (SII), Train the Trainer (TTT), DiSC Personality Assessment and Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF). Alicia is an active member of the National Career Development Association (NCDA), National Association of Colleges and the Employers (NACE) and the Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services (AGCAS).
