FOUNDER & CHAIR OF CAREER PROFESSIONALS OF CANADA

Sharon Graham founded Career Professionals of Canada (CPC) in 2004 and served as the organization’s executive director until 2023. On Canada Day, 2022, CPC was incorporated as a national not-for-profit association. Currently, Sharon chairs CPC's board of directors, upholding the organization's national mandate with integrity, stability, and long-term vision.

A visionary leader, future strategist, and worklife strategist, Sharon is widely recognized for advancing innovative, future-informed approaches within the career development profession. Her work increasingly focuses on helping practitioners and organizations navigate uncertainty, evolving workforce systems, artificial intelligence, and the growing importance of trusted human guidance in a rapidly changing world.

As an advocate for purposeful kindness and emerging human trust services, Sharon believes ethical, human-centred support will become increasingly essential in the future of work and society. Through her leadership, writing, teaching, and mentorship, she strives to create a kinder, more thoughtful, and more sustainable future for both practitioners and the people they serve.

Throughout her career, Sharon has championed the idea that career development is not simply about employment, but about helping people navigate change, uncertainty, identity, well-being, and meaningful contribution in an evolving world.
